February 2021 Deviled Egg Plate Giveaway

Love the mess in your yard. The pastel deviled egg tray would be great for Easter
Daily gratitude lists have been so sustaining. One, odd perhaps, thing I’ve gotten back to during the pandemic is sending snail-mail cards to friends. Just spontaneous expressions of how much they’ve brought to my life.
The biggest change in me is a renewed zest to create. I love to buy- tools, fabric, floss, wool, etc. I see new things that excite me. And it all goes into the gaping maw called my craft room. But I have felt the need to stop buying and start making. Luckily, I’m still excited about the projects I have. And now I have the time to work on them. They aren’t doing any good in a carefully labeled shoebox or stuck in a bag. They need to be worked on, and gifted to someone who needs a lift. I’d almost forgotten the sheer joy to be derived from giving simple, just for the heck of it gifts. So I appreciate the time to delve into my stores and make.
Love the new blue! I am currently obsessed with Delft blue, but there’s no shade of blue I don’t like.
As for the pandemic and changing me, I am learning to appreciate all the “small” moments in life – just taking a drive in the car with my dog, sitting outside with the sun shining, having lunch with my husband (while working from home) – just to name a few.
Last March, when we basically had to stay home, I realized how nice it was to be together without distractions and in an unhurried lifestyle. Now that we are out more, I kind of miss that, but it has helped me appreciate my family and my home. We even had time to get some chickens for our backyard and I enjoy watching my 10 year old grandson collect eggs while he is talking to and petting the chickens. Not something I expected to have happen in the city – it has been a serendipity. Today, I try to keep the unhurried mindset and take time to just be with my family and enjoy my home and pets. I even take time to listen to good videos like yours and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Thank you
