  • Happy to see you again! The pandemic has brought out my inner hermit which isn’t a bad thing! I work from home now and it’s made me realize that we don’t have to always be going and doing and it’s okay to be still!

  • The pandemic has taught me how wonderful it is to slow down and truly focus on the things I want to spend my time/energy on. Loving the calm vs the busyness. 💙

  • Covid hasn’t really affected me. I was already pretty homebound, because of caring for my 86 year old father, who has dementia. No complaints. I am extremely BLESSED!

  • The pandemic has reinforced what I already knew from lessons taught by my Alabama grandmother – life is short. As a result I no longer save things for later. I use them now. I do not lock down. I get on the train, almost no matter where it’s going. Something is going to kill me. I will not sit home waiting for it. I’ll take whatever precautions I know of, but I am not going to come out of a bunker a year from now, blinking in the sunlight and minus a year of my life. I’ve been to Alabama twice, Florida Disney twice, Kentucky Horse Park, Museum of the Creation, The Ark, Charleston, SC, Nashville, Louisville, Wisconsin, Salt Lake City, Indiana, Park City, Utah, Peoria, Illinois, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts. My children and grandchildren have gone with me, and I have soaked up their company along with the scenery. If the Lord lets us, we will every one go to Hawaii in the spring. The gift of their time to ramble with me has been beyond price, and I am deeply grateful for the privilege.
